Working Principle of Ultrasonic Transducers
The transducer works by converting high-frequency electrical energy into mechanical vibrations. Its core structure consists of multiple piezoelectric ceramic discs compressed between two metal blocks, with thin metal electrodes inserted between each disc. After receiving a sinusoidal electrical signal through these electrodes, the discs undergo rapid axial expansion and contraction, thereby generating ultrasonic vibrations.
Ultrasonic System:
The complete ultrasonic system includes three key components:
* Ultrasonic Generator - Supplies high-frequency electrical signals.
* Ultrasonic Transducer - Converts electrical energy into mechanical vibrations.
* Ultrasonic Horn - Focuses and transmits vibrations to the target material.
